Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account on Poncdash (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not create an account. The Service is operated by Hughes Performance Technology Limited, a company registered in Ireland (Cranny House, Inver, Co. Donegal). See www.hughes.team.

2. Description of Service

Poncdash is a dynamic contact management platform that syncs contacts bidirectionally between your providers (Google Contacts, Microsoft Outlook/365, Apple iCloud) and the Poncdash platform. It adds enrichment data that providers don’t natively support: interaction tracking, relationship strength, tags, and user-to-user connections.

Contacts remain in your original providers. Poncdash acts as the exchange layer, keeping all your contact sources in sync and your network alive.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide a valid email address and create a secure password
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must accept the Privacy Policy and Contact Data Processing consent at signup
• One account per person — shared accounts are not permitted

4. Your Data

Ownership

You own your data. Poncdash does not claim ownership of any contacts, interactions, tags, or other content you create or sync through the Service. We store your data solely to provide and improve the Service.

Contact data processing

By connecting a provider (Google, Microsoft, or iCloud), you authorise Poncdash to read your contacts from that provider, store them locally for enrichment, and write changes back to the provider. This bidirectional sync is the core function of the Service.

User connections

Poncdash may identify when contacts in your address book are also registered Poncdash users (by matching phone numbers or email addresses). When a match is found, a connection request is created. You choose whether to accept or decline. Accepted connections allow shared profile fields to propagate between users, keeping both parties’ contact records current.

Data portability and deletion

You can export all your data at any time from Settings → Privacy. You can delete your account at any time, which schedules permanent deletion after a 7-day cooling-off period. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for spam, phishing, or unsolicited bulk communications
• Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the Service’s security
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically download contact data from the Service
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication controls, or access restrictions
• Share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorised access

6. Provider Integrations

Poncdash integrates with third-party services (Google, Microsoft, Apple) via their official APIs. Your use of these integrations is also subject to the respective provider’s terms of service. Poncdash is not responsible for changes, outages, or limitations imposed by these providers.

OAuth tokens for provider access are encrypted and stored securely. You can disconnect any provider at any time from Settings → Integrations, which immediately deletes the associated tokens.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep Poncdash available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.

8. Limitation of Liability

Poncdash is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, sync errors, or provider integration failures.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or €0 if you are on a free plan).

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time via Settings → Privacy → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with notice where practicable. On termination, your data will be handled according to our deletion policy (7-day cooling-off, then permanent deletion).

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
