Poncdash Connections

A Poncdash connection is a live link between two Poncdash users. When someone you're connected to updates their profile (phone, email, name), the change flows to your contact record automatically. No need to ask "what's your new number?"

Go to Settings → Business Card to set up your My Card. Add your phone number, email, website, and LinkedIn. This is how other Poncdash users will find and connect with you.

Your contact methods must be globally unique — only one Poncdash user can register each phone number or email address. This prevents impersonation and ensures accurate matching.

Poncdash automatically checks if any of your contacts' phone numbers or emails belong to a registered Poncdash user. Matching happens:

• When you add a new contact
• When you import contacts
• When you update your My Card
• When you manually scan from the Connections page

Go to Connections in the sidebar to see pending requests and active connections. When you accept a connection, both sides are linked and contact details sync between your profiles.

You control which fields are shared with your connections. By default, your name, email, and phone are shared. You can adjust this in your privacy settings.
